The Presidential Inauguration of Dr. Jack R. Warner is November 15

Join us as we mark this monumental event to officially welcome Dr. Jack Warner as our eleventh president and celebrate Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳'s 170th anniversary.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳ (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳) is the state's first and oldest institution of public higher education, founded in 1854. It is overseen by the President of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳, who reports to the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner (RIOPC).

The RIOPC

The RIOPC is the administrative arm of the Rhode Island Council on Postsecondary Education, which provides oversight and governance for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳ and the Community College of Rhode Island.

Dr. Jack R. Warner, appointed Interim President of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳ on July 1, 2022, will be officially inaugurated as Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳’s 11th president on November 15, 2024. The president presides over an executive cabinet comprised of the vice presidents of various offices and divisions throughout the college, as well as other high-ranking members of the college's leadership. The Office of the President is overseen by a chief of staff.

The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳.

The division is responsible for financial and budgetary systems and processes, information services, human resources, security and safety, facilities and operations, publishing services, and capital projects for a 47 building, 180-acre campus.​​​​​​​​​

Professional Studies and Continuing Education

Professional Studies and Continuing Education (PSCE) extends the educational offerings and resources of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳ (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳) and provides administrative programming support and assistance to affiliated agencies and organizations on and off campus.
